Blog & Inspiration

Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. (17)And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:12-17

Imagine if we were all able to apply each of these Colossians 3 directives in our daily lives, can you imagine the peace and joy our hearts would feel? A new found peace in our households, shared with our families, expressed in our relationships, demonstrated in our communities, in our country, and in our whole world.
If we were able to show compassion to the hurting souls, kindness to those in need, to each other, then humble ourselves, and be patient in all circumstances - wow!
As hard as it can be, imagine being able to let go of the hurt caused by our loved ones, our co-workers, our friends and just forgive them their trespasses against us...
Above all, imagine the world if we could love those that do not look like us, sound like us, dress like us, act like us or those who even hate us...
Although all of this is not always an easy practice, we can at least try, one little step at a time.
Sure, we might fail at times, but let's just make that conscience effort.

As we live through these things, let us encourage one another and never cease to give thanks at all times to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
